The standard establishes requirements for protective clothing with limited protective action against chemicals. This workwear is used with possible exposure to liquid chemicals only in the form of individual splashes, liquid aerosols or droplets falling with low pressure, for which protection is not required impermeability of the material (at the molecular level). The standard does not regulate the requirements for protective clothing against intensive irrigation, jets, pouring liquid chemicals, as well as from gases and vapors. The standard applies to protective clothing against chemicals (type 6) and products designed to protect certain parts of the body (type PB [6])
Стандарт устанавливает требования к спецодежде с ограниченным защитным действием по отношению к химическим веществам. Данная спецодежда применяется при возможном воздействии жидких химических веществ только в виде отдельных брызг, жидких аэрозолей или падающих с низким давлением капель, для защиты от которых не требуется непроницаемости материала (на молекулярном уровне). Стандарт не регламентирует требования к спецодежде, защищающей от интенсивного орошения, струи, облива жидкими химическими веществами, а также от газов и паров. Стандарт распространяется на спецодежду для защиты от химических веществ (тип 6) и изделий, предназначенных для защиты отдельных частей тела (тип РВ [6])
