The standard applies to special clothes for men and women to protect against general industrial pollution and mechanical effects of workers in various industries, agriculture, housing and communal services, trade organizations, consumer services and hotel services, service and cleaning services, medical personnel of health organizations. The standard establishes technical requirements for protective clothing to protect against general industrial pollution and mechanical stress, as well as materials for its manufacture. The standard is used in the design of workwear, when setting products for production and confirming compliance. The standard does not apply to work clothes of one-time (short-term) use, sterile work clothes for all branches of medicine, work clothes for those working in clean rooms.
Стандарт распространяется на специальную одежду мужскую и женскую для защиты от общих производственных загрязнений и механических воздействий работников различных отраслей промышленности, агропромышленного комплекса, жилищно-коммунального хозяйства, организаций торговли, бытового обслуживания и гостиничного сервиса, сервисных и клининговых служб, медицинского персонала организаций здравоохранения. Стандарт устанавливает технические требования к спецодежде для защиты от общих производственных загрязнений и механических воздействий, а также материалам для ее изготовления. Стандарт применяют при проектировании спецодежды, при постановке продукции на производство и подтверждении соответствия. Стандарт не распространяется на спецодежду разового (кратковременного) использования, на стерильную спецодежду для всех отраслей медицины, спецодежду для работающих в чистых помещениях.
