Cables and wires for rolling stock of railway transport. General specifications

Status: Effective - Introduced for the first time. IUS 3-2016

This standard applies to cables and wires of reduced fire hazard for internal and external electrical connections on rolling stock, including special railway rolling stock: for stationary group laying and for connection to electrical equipment placed on rolling stock, intercar and intersection joints on rated voltage of alternating current with a frequency up to 400 Hz: for cables - 660 V (1000 V of a direct current), for wires - 660, 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000 V (1000, 1500, 3000, 4500, 6000 V DC). The standard establishes the parameters, characteristics and properties of cables and wires, as well as the requirements for their testing and operation.
