This standard establishes the terms applied in the field of electrical engineering and related to switching equipment, control equipment and fuses. The terminology of this standard is consistent with the terminology set forth in other specialized parts of the International Electrotechnical Dictionary. The terms established by this standard are recommended for use in all types of documentation and literature in the field of electrical engineering for low-voltage and high-voltage electrical equipment that are within the scope of standardization work and (or) using the results of these works.
Настоящий стандарт устанавливает термины, применяемые в области электротехники и относящиеся к коммутационной аппаратуре, аппаратуре управления и плавким предохранителям. Терминология настоящего стандарта согласована с терминологией, изложенной в других специализированных частях Международного электротехнического словаря. Термины, установленные настоящим стандартом, рекомендуются для применения во всех видах документации и литературы в области электротехники на низковольтное и высоковольтное электрическое оборудование, входящих в сферу действия работ по стандартизации и (или) использующих результаты этих работ
