The code of rules applies to public rail transport with a rolling stock speed of up to 200 km
Cвод правил распространяется на железнодорожный транспорт общего пользования со скоростью движения железнодорожного подвижного состава до 200 км/ч и устанавливает общие правила проектирования и строительства кабельных линий в пределах инфраструктуры железнодорожного транспорта при прокладке и подвеске кабелей на перегонах, станциях, по искусственным сооружениям, при вводе в здания, а также защиты кабельных линий от ударов молний и влияний электротяги железных дорог. В своде правил приводятся требования к прокладке кабелей с металлическими жилами и ВОК непосредственно в грунт, в пластмассовых трубопроводах и в канализации, а также размещению ВОК на опорах контактной сети, линий электропередачи автоблокировки или линий электропередачи продольного электроснабжения. Cвод правил предназначен для применения единой технологии проектирования и строительства кабельных линий.
