Design and calculation guidelines for pile-anchor structures of highways

Status: Effective - Introduced for the first time. Has a recommendatory nature

Sectoral road methodical document is intended for use by road authorities and organizations that carry out work on the calculation, design, construction and maintenance of pile-and-anchor structures on highways. Recommendations of the methodological document apply to the design of pile-anchor structures engineering protection of roads. They can be used in the construction of structures on highways in areas with seismicity up to 9 points inclusive on the scale of the IZP-64 (MSK-64). Recommendations of the methodological document do not apply to permafrost, karst areas, as well as to the design of hydraulic structures and special structures of civil defense and emergency situations. The methodical document contains materials that are intended both for informing specialists and for practical activities, and these materials make it possible to develop specialized recommendations for specific technologies for constructing pile-anchor structures. In this case, the question of the advisability of using recommendations should be decided in each specific case by individually qualified specialists.
