Guide to Determining Declared Draft of Ships in Seaports

The Guidelines establish the procedure and method for calculating the declared draft of ships in seaports equipped with artificial water approaches, and is mandatory when calculating the draft draft for seaports. The manual does not apply to making operational decisions about ship escort through the canal.
