The rules establish the characteristics of the quality of measurements - parameters that reflect the proximity of the measurement result to the value of the measured value, and the form of their presentation. The rules are intended for use in the development of regulatory, methodological and technical documents (design and technological documentation, standards, technical specifications, technical specifications, reports, protocols, programs, documents on test methods.
