The standard establishes the requirements necessary for the design, manufacture, acceptance, reinforcement, reconstruction and operation of metal structures of buildings and structures in terms of ensuring their protection against corrosion. The HUNDRED extends to corrosion protection of newly constructed, operated and reconstructed steel structures of buildings and structures when exposed to non-aggressive and slightly aggressive media with temperatures ranging from minus 50 to plus 50 degrees. C. SRT does not apply to the design of corrosion protection of metal structures used in medium to highly aggressive environments, in liquid media and soils, including metal structures of tanks and flue gas chimneys, as well as metal structures operating in slightly aggressive environments with special long-term requirements corrosion protection. The standard also does not apply to the design of the protection of metal structures from corrosion caused by radioactive substances.
Стандарт устанавливает требования, необходимые при проектировании, изготовлении, приемке, усилении, реконструкции и эксплуатации металлоконструкций зданий и сооружений в части обеспечения их защиты от коррозии. СТО распространяется на защиту от коррозии вновь изготавливаемых, эксплуатируемых и реконструируемых строительных стальных конструкций зданий и сооружений при воздействии неагрессивных и слабоагрессивных сред с температурой от минус 50 до плюс 50 град. С. СТО не распространяется на проектирование защиты от коррозии металлоконструкций, эксплуатирующихся в средне- и сильноагрессивных средах, в жидких средах и грунтах, в том числе металлоконструкций резервуаров и газоотводящих стволов дымовых труб, а также металлоконструкций, эксплуатирующихся в слабоагрессивных средах при специальных требованиях к долговременной защите от коррозии. Стандарт также не распространяется на проектирование защиты металлоконструкций от коррозии, вызываемой радиоактивными веществами
