Guidelines apply to regulatory and technical, design, technological and other documentation governing the requirements for performing measurements, and establish methods for estimating errors of direct one-off measurements, provided that the error components of the measurement result are known, random errors of components are distributed normally, and not excluded systematic errors represented by given boundaries.
Методические указания распространяются на нормативно-техническую, конструкторскую, технологическую и другую документацию, регламентирующую требования к выполнению измерений, и устанавливают методы оценивания погрешностей результатов прямых однократных измерений при условии, что составляющие погрешности результата измерения известны, случайные погрешности составляющих распределены нормально, а не исключённые систематические погрешности, представленные заданными границами.
