Recommendation. State system for ensuring uniformity of measurements. The choice of methods and measuring instruments in the development of measurement techniques. General provisions

Status: Effective

The recommendation sets out general guidelines for the selection of methods and means of technical measurements carried out in the process of developing measurement procedures (MVI). With regard to the choice of types of measuring instruments, this recommendation applies only to their metrological characteristics. The recommendation does not provide requirements regarding the degree of automation of measurements, the complexity of metrological maintenance of measuring instruments and other factors associated with operational, ergonomic, etc. properties of MVI.
