State system for ensuring uniformity of measurements. Methods for determining the calibration and intercalibration intervals of measuring instruments
Status: Not effective
The recommendation applies to measuring instruments, including workers of measuring instruments and standards, subject to state or departmental verification, calibration, comparisons or calibration. The recommendation contains methods for determining the verification and intercalibration intervals, based on the assumption that the metrological characteristics of the SR are continuous with a finite random rate during operation or storage. The recommendation establishes the criteria for determining the IIP, the dependence on the IIP of indicators that meet these criteria, and the algorithms for calculating the IIP.
