The recommendation establishes a methodology for measuring the content of droplet liquid in a stream of natural and associated gas. MVI is designed to measure the mass of droplet fluid contained in a unit volume of gas, reduced to a temperature of 20 degrees Celsius and a pressure of 0.101325 MPa. Рекомендация устанавливает методику выполнения измерений содержания капельной жидкости в потоке природного и попутного газа. МВИ предназначена для измерений массы капельной жидкости, содержащейся в единице объема газа, приведенного к температуре 20 градусов Цельсия и давлению 0,101325 МПа. Диапазон измерений по данной методике от 2 до 5000 мг/м3. МВИ применяют для оценки качества газа в процессе подготовки и сепарации, и определении потерь нефти при ее добыче из-за уноса газом.
