The recommendation applies to pulse oximeters (pulse oximeters) and pulse oximetry channels of medical monitors, which allow assessing the degree of human arterial blood hemoglobin oxygen saturation by non-invasive method by measuring the ratio of modulation factors of the light flux passing through human tissue in two wavelength ranges - red and infrared.
Рекомендация распространяется на оксиметры пульсовых (пульсоксиметры) и пульсоксиметрические каналы медицинских мониторов, позволяющие оценивать степень насыщения кислородом гемоглобина артериальной крови человека неинвазивным методом, путем измерения отношения коэффициентов модуляции светового потока, проходящего через ткани человека, в двух диапазонах длин волн - красном и инфракрасном.
