Toxicological and hygienic safety assessment of nanomaterials
Status: Effective - Introduced for the first time
Guidelines establish requirements for conducting toxicological and hygienic studies to assess the safety of nanomaterials. The requirements set forth in the guidelines are applied in the implementation of state registration of products obtained using nanotechnology or containing nanomaterials, first developed and introduced for industrial manufacturing in the Russian Federation at the stage of its preparation for production, as well as for the first time imported and not previously implemented its importation into the territory of the Russian Federation. Guidelines are designed to provide a unified, scientifically based system of toxicological and hygienic safety assessment of nanomaterials. Guidelines are intended for specialists of bodies and organizations of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare, and can also be used by research organizations of hygienic profile, medical educational institutions and other organizations and institutions accredited in due course.
