Status: Effective. The limitation of the effectiveness period has been lifted: Protocol No. 4-93 of the IGU dated 10.21.93 (IUS 4-1994)
The standard applies to electrostatic fields created during the operation of high voltage direct current electrical equipment and electrification of dielectric materials and establishes permissible levels of electrostatic field strength at personnel workplaces, as well as general requirements for control and protection. The standard does not apply to electrostatic fields created by explosive, fire-hazardous mixtures.
Стандарт распространяется на электростатические поля, создаваемые при эксплуатации электроустановок высокого напряжения постоянного тока и электризации диэлектрических материалов и устанавливает допустимые уровни напряженности электростатических полей на рабочих местах персонала, а также общих требования к проведению контроля и средствам защиты. Стандарт не распространяется на электростатические поля, создаваемые взрыво-, пожароопаснными смесями.
