Occupational safety standards system. Power frequency electric fields. Permissible levels of field strength and requirements for control at work-places

Status: Effective - Supersedes. The limitation of effectiveness has been lifted: Protocol No. 5-94 of the IGU dated 05.17.94 (IUS 11-12-1994)

The standard establishes the maximum permissible levels of electric field strength (EF) with a frequency of 50 Hz for personnel serving electrical installations and in the zone of influence created by their EF, depending on the time spent in the EF, as well as the requirements for monitoring the levels of tension at workplaces.
