Plastics. Method for the determination of Izod impact strength.
Status: Not effective - Superseded. Registration details 25-st dated January 26, 2018 (official site of Rosstandart); IUS 4-2018
The standard applies to plastics and establishes a method for determining the impact strength of Izod. The essence of the method consists in the destruction of a cantilever-fixed specimen with a notch by the impact of a pendulum across the specimen at a certain distance from the fixing point. The standard does not apply to cellular plastics.
