Status: Not effective - Superseded. IUS 1-1989
The standard applies to packaging and establishes a unified system of dimensions, based on a module of 800x1200 mm. The requirements of the standard should be applied in the development of standards and technical conditions for containers, in the design and procurement of imports of containers, equipment, machinery and mechanisms related to the size of containers, means of transportation and storage. The standard does not apply to packaging for products whose dimensions exceed 1140x760x1140 mm, as well as to packaging for which other dimensions are defined in international agreements depending on special conditions and feasibility studies
Стандарт распространяется на тару и устанавливает единую систему размеров, исходя из модуля 800х1200 мм. Требования стандарта следует применять при разработке стандартов и технических условий на тару, при проектировании и закупке по импорту тары, оборудования, машин и механизмов, связанных с размерами тары, средств транспортирования и складирования. Стандарт не распространяется на тару для изделий, габаритные размеры которых превышают 1140х760х1140 мм, а также на тару, для которой в международных договорах определены другие размеры в зависимости от специальных условий и технико-экономических обоснований
