The standard applies to: installations and generators designed to heat materials with different degrees of electrical conductivity and operating at an alternating current frequency of 66 kHz and higher; induction heaters and installations intended for heating the metal, operating at an alternating current frequency from 500 Hz to 18 kHz; ultrasonic generators and installations of various technological purposes, operating at an alternating current frequency of 18 kHz and higher. The standard establishes safety requirements for the design of devices.

Стандарт устанавливает требования безопасности к конструкции устройств.
