Determining hazard class toxic production consumption waste

Status: Effective

The rules establish hygienic requirements and criteria for determining the hazard class of production and consumption waste according to their toxicity and are introduced in order to establish and prevent the harmful effects of toxic waste on the environment and human health. The rules do not apply to radioactive, explosive and flammable wastes, as well as wastes that can cause infectious diseases (food waste, waste of medical institutions, household sewage sludge, etc.). The classification of hazard of the above categories of waste is made on the basis of other regulatory and methodological documents.
