Recommendations for the use of fly ash in concrete foundations of roads
Status: Effective - Introduced for the first time. Does not have an official publication
The branch road methodical document extends to the heavy concrete received from rigid concrete mixes by a rolling method, containing in its composition the fly ash of thermal power plants. The provisions of ODM are recommended for use in the construction of cement concrete foundations of roads, as well as airfields or similar structures (roads of industrial enterprises, container terminals, etc.). ODM should be used in conjunction with existing regulations. ODM recommendations are aimed at improving the technical and economic efficiency and durability of concrete foundations of roads through the use of by-products of thermal power plants and, accordingly, to protect the environment.
