Guidelines determine the procedure for metrological assurance of measurement of absorbed radiation dose in radiation therapy: transferring the size of the absorbed dose rate unit (or absorbed dose unit) of photon radiation from its state primary standard to working measurement instruments (clinical dosimeters); measurements (and calculations) of the absorbed dose in water performed in a tissue-equivalent phantom when therapeutic use is made of radionuclide remote devices with 60Co sources (1.25 MeV gamma radiation) and medical electron accelerators operating in photon generation modes (1 - 50 MeV) and electron radiation (5 - 50 MeV). The guidelines are intended for the Metrological Service of the USSR State Standard Service, basic and territorial calibration dosimetry laboratories of the departmental metrological service of the USSR Ministry of Health, for its oncological and radiological medical institutions involved in radiation therapy, as well as for the training and improvement of radiation therapy specialists to provide. The methodological instructions are based on the direct reproduction of the unit of absorbed dose rate with the help of the state primary standard with the subsequent transfer of this unit to exemplary and working instruments in accordance with GOST 8.070. Guidelines are compiled in accordance with GOST 8.417, RD 50-160, GOST 15484, RD 50-454.
Методические указания определяют порядок метрологического обеспечения измерений поглощенной дозы излучения в лучевой терапии: передачей рабочим средствам измерений (клиническим дозиметрам) размера единицы мощности поглощенной дозы (или единицы поглощенной дозы) фотонного излучения от ее государственного первичного эталона; измерениями (и расчетами) поглощенной дозы в воде, выполняемыми в тканеэквивалентном фантоме при использовании в терапевтических целях радионуклидных дистанционных аппаратов с источниками 60Со (гамма-излучение с энергией 1,25 МэВ) и медицинских ускорителей электронов, работающих в режимах генерирования фотонного (1 - 50 МэВ) и электронного излучений (5 - 50 МэВ). Методические указания предназначены для органов метрологической службы Госстандарта СССР, базовых и территориальных поверочных дозиметрических лабораторий ведомственной метрологической службы Министерства здравоохранения СССР, для его онкологических и радиологических лечебных учреждений, занимающихся лучевой терапией, а также для подготовки и усовершенствования специалистов по лучевой терапии и ее физико-техническому обеспечению. В основу методических указаний положено непосредственное воспроизведение с помощью государственного первичного эталона единицы мощности поглощенной дозы с последующей передачей этой единицы образцовым и рабочим приборам в соответствии с ГОСТ 8.070. Методические указания составлены в соответствии с ГОСТ 8.417, РД 50-160, ГОСТ 15484, РД 50-454.
