Status: Effective - Introduced for the first time

Guidelines establish the method for measuring the carbon isotopic composition of organic matter in bottom sediments of Lake Baikal by mass spectrometry analysis and the method for estimating the level of contamination of bottom sediments with industrial waste water from the BPPM using this indicator. The guidelines are intended for the Irkutsk UGMS, as well as for research organizations involved in assessing and predicting the level of pollution of lake bottom sediments in the zone of influence of the BPPM.
