Ensuring Radiation Safety During Decommissioning of a Nuclear Power Plant Unit
Status: Effective
Sanitary regulations establish sanitary and hygienic and organizational requirements for the protection of personnel, the public and the environment from radiation exposure during decommissioning of a nuclear power plant unit. The requirements set forth in these Rules are mandatory for design and operating organizations in the design, organization and execution of works on decommissioning units of various types of nuclear power plants. The requirements for ensuring radiation safety during the performance of standard technological operations for unloading and removal of nuclear fuel from UAS, prior to the work on decommissioning, are not regulated by these Rules.
