Pipe fittings. Cryogenic fittings. General technical conditions

Status: Effective

The standard applies to shut-off, control, safety and check valves (closures) for a nominal pressure of no more than PN 400 for cryogenic gaseous and liquid media with temperatures ranging from 203 K (minus 70 degrees Celsius) to 4 K (minus 269 degrees Celsius). The standard can be used for certification. The standard operates in conjunction with the applicable standards and design documentation for specific types of valves. Mandatory requirements for product quality are set out in sections 4-7 and 9.
