The standard establishes methods for measuring noise in industrial premises and in the territories of enterprises at workplaces in all sectors of the national economy. The standard is not used to measure the noise acting on working in headphones (for example, telephonists, air traffic controllers) or in helmets (pilots, motorcyclists, etc.).
Стандарт устанавливает методы измерения шума в производственных помещениях и на территориях предприятий на рабочих местах во всех отраслях народного хозяйства. Стандарт не применяют для измерения шума, воздействующего на работающих в наушниках (например, телефонистки, авиадиспетчеры) или в шлемах (летчики, мотоциклисты и т.д.).
