The standard applies to machines, machinery, process equipment and other sources of noise, and sets the noise characteristics of noise sources and noise characteristics of people’s locations, as well as methods for measuring them, which are necessary for estimating, rationing noise and carrying out measures to reduce it. The standard does not establish methods for determining the noise characteristics of noise sources during their movement, noise in air ducts, etc.
Стандарт распространяется на машины, механизмы, технологическое оборудование и другие источники шума и устанавливает шумовые характеристики источников шума и шумовые характеристики мест нахождения людей, а также методы их измерения, которые необходимы для оценки, нормирования шума и проведения мероприятий по его снижению. Стандарт не устанавливает методов определения и шумовых характеристик источников шума при их передвижении, шумов в воздуховодах и т. п.
