Medical scalpels and knives

Status: Effective - Supersedes. IUS 10-1989
The standard applies to scalpels and knives (hereinafter - products) used in all areas of surgery, except microsurgery. The standard does not apply to scalpels with removable blades, ring-shaped, circular, blade knives, blade moving relative to the handle, ultrasound and disposable products.
Стандарт распространяется на скальпели и ножи (далее - изделия), применяемые во всех областях хирургии, кроме микрохирургии. Стандарт не распространяется на скальпели со съемными лезвиями, кольцеватые, дисковые, пластинчатые ножи, имеющие подвижное относительно ручки лезвие, ультразвуковые и изделия одноразового применения.
