The standard applies to dyed, multicolored and printed fabrics and piece goods produced on the basis of natural silk yarn and chemical yarn, and all other types of textile yarns, as well as pile silk fabrics, and sets standards for color stability and methods for its determination. The standard does not apply to fabrics and piece goods produced on the basis and weft of viscose yarn, national fabrics of dyed dyeing, technical fabrics and fabrics produced by special orders. Replacing NTD: GOST 28486-90 (in terms of mantle and jacket fabrics), GOST 29013-91 (in terms of corsetry and blanket fabrics), GOST 7081-93 (in part of nap fabrics (clothes, shoes, fur and plush for toys)) .
Стандарт распространяется на гладкокрашеные, пестротканые и набивные ткани и штучные изделия, вырабатываемые по основе из нитей и пряжи натурального шелка и химических нитей, а поутку - из всех видов текстильных нитей и пряжи, а также на ворсовые шелковые ткани, и устанавливает нормы устойчивости окраски и методы ее определения. Стандарт не распространяется на ткани и штучные изделия, вырабатываемые по основе и утку из вискозной пряжи, национальные ткани аврового крашения, технические ткани и ткани, вырабатываемые по особым заказам. Заменяющие НТД: ГОСТ 28486-90 (в части плащевых и курточных тканей), ГОСТ 29013-91 (в части корсетных и о��еяльных тканей), ГОСТ 7081-93 (в части ворсовых тканей (одежных, обувных, меха и плюша для игрушек)).
