Status: Effective - Supersedes. in the part of devices developed before 01/01/1996 - the date of introduction of 01/01/1997 (IUS 6-1995)
The standard applies to direct measuring electrical measuring instruments with a device for presenting indications in analog form, such as: ammeters and voltmeters; wattmeters and varmeters; frequency meters of arrow and vibration types; phase meters, power factor meters and synchroscopes; ohmmeters (instruments for measuring impedance) and instruments for measuring active conductivity; multifunctional devices of the above types. The standard applies to some auxiliary parts used with these devices, such as: shunts; additional resistance and resistance elements. The standard also applies to direct measuring electrical measuring instruments, the scale marks of which do not correspond directly to the values of the electrical input quantity, provided that the relationship between them is known. The standard applies to devices and auxiliary parts containing electronic devices in their measuring and (or) auxiliary circuits. The standard does not apply to devices for special purposes, which have their own standards. The standard does not apply to devices for special purposes, which have their own standards when used as auxiliary parts. The standard does not apply to resistivity meters (special resistance meters), conductivity meters (special conductivity meters), as well as insulation resistance meters used in live circuits.
