Steel pipe mains. General requirements for corrosion protection
Status: Not effective - Canceled in the Russian Federation. IUS 7-1998
The standard establishes the general requirements for the protection of facilities from underground and atmospheric corrosion of main oil, gas and product pipelines and outlets from them (hereinafter referred to as trunk pipelines); pipelines of compressor, gas distribution, pumping and pumping stations and headworks of fields (hereinafter referred to as the communications network); casing of wells and pipelines of oil and gas fields, underground gas storages and gas and oil complex treatment plants (hereinafter referred to as field facilities) and collectively referred to hereafter as structures for their underground, underwater (with dredging in the bottom), ground (with backfilling ) and aboveground gaskets. The standard does not apply to heat pipelines, steel water pipes, and structures laid in settlements, permafrost soils and in water bodies without penetration into the bottom.
