Status: Effective - Supersedes. The limitation of effectiveness has been lifted: Protocol No. 2-92 of the IGU dated 05.10.92 (IUS 2-1993)

The standard applies to electronic octave and one-third octave passive and active filters designed for spectral analysis of noise in acoustic and vibration measurements, used as stand-alone devices, and embedded in other measuring instruments, and establishes general technical requirements and methods for their testing. The standard does not apply to narrowband, wideband and corrective filters.

Стандарт распространяется на электронные октавные и третьоктавные пассивные и активные фильтры, предназначенные для спектрального анализа шумов при акустических и вибрационных измерениях, применяемые как самостоятельные приборы, так и встроенные в другие измерительные приборы, и устанавливает общие технические требования и методы их испытаний. Стандарт не распространяется на узкополосные, широкополосные и корректирующие фильтры.
