The standard applies to sensors (measuring transducers) of pressure, vacuum and differential pressure with electrical unified analog output signals, as well as sensors of other physical quantities: flow rates of liquids and gases, level and density of liquids functionally related to pressure or pressure difference. Sensors are part of the state system of industrial equipment and automation and are designed to work in automatic control systems, control and regulation of production processes. The standard establishes requirements for sensors manufactured for the needs of the national economy and export.
Стандарт распространяется на датчики (измерительные преобразователи) давления, разрежения и разности давлений с электрическими унифицированными аналоговыми выходными сигналами, а также датчики других физических величин: расхода жидкостей и газов, уровня и плотности жидкостей, функционально связанных с давлением или разностью давлений. Датчики входят в комплекс государственной системы промышленных приборов и средств автоматизации и предназначены для работы в системах автоматического управления, контроля и регулирования производственных процессов. Стандарт устанавливает требования к датчикам, изготовляемым для нужд народного хозяйства и экспорта.
