Status: Restored in the Russian Federation for individual industries. By order of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology dated 01.03.2016 No. 101-st, it was restored on the territory of the Russian Federation only in relation to products delivered under the State Defense Order; IUS 6-2016

The standard applies to plate, broadband universal, shaped, long products and curved profiles of high strength steel used for welded, riveted or bolted structures and used in products, mostly without additional heat treatment. In terms of the norms of chemical composition, the standard also applies to thin sheets, ingots, slabs, blooms, forgings and stampings.

Стандарт распространяется на толстолистовой, широкополосный универсальный, фасонный, сортовой прокат и гнутые профили из стали повышенной прочности, применяемые для сварных, клепаных или болтовых конструкций и используемые в изделиях, в основном, без дополнительной термической обработки. В части норм химического состава стандарт распространяется также на тонкий лист, слитки, слябы, блюмсы, поковки и штамповки.
