Status: Not effective - Canceled in the Russian Federation. Registration information 76-st dated 01.03.2004; IUS 5-2004
The standard applies to brake systems of passenger and trucks, road trains, buses, car trailers, semi-trailers and special trailer systems designed for use on the roads of the USSR general network, and establishes technical requirements for brake systems and standards for their effectiveness. The standard does not apply to vehicle braking systems, the maximum speed of which does not exceed 25 km
Стандарт распространяется на тормозные системы пассажирских и грузовых автомобилей, автопоездов, автобусов, автомобильных прицепов, полуприцепов и специальных прицепных систем, предназначенных для эксплуатации на автомобильных дорогах общей сети СССР, и устанавливает технические требования к тормозным системам и нормативы их эффективности. Стандарт не распространяется на тормозные системы автотранспортных средств, максимальная скорость которых не превышает 25 км/ч, автотранспортных средств с двигателем, имеющих менее четырех колес, если их полная масса не превышает 1 т, тяжеловозов и автотранспортных средств, находящихся в эксплуатации, за исключением периода действия для них гарантийных обязательств предприятий-изготовителей.
