The standard applies to consumer electronics equipment: broadcasting receivers, televisions and tuners for receiving signals from satellite television broadcasting, video recorders, video games, sound and video equipment, electric music instruments, etc., including equipment that is their combination, and establishes norms and methods measurements of industrial radio interference in the frequency band 0.15-1750 MHz.
Стандарт распространяется на бытовую радиоэлектронную аппаратуру: радиовещательные приемники, телевизоры и тюнеры для приема сигналов спутникового телевизионного вещания, видеомагнитофоны, видеоигры, звуковую и видеоаппаратуру, электромузыкальные инструменты и т.п., в том числе аппаратуру, являющуюся их комбинациями, и устанавливает нормы и методы измерений индустриальных радиопомех в полосе частот 0,15-1750 МГц.
