The standard applies to alkaline nickel-iron traction batteries with a capacity of over 150 Ah, designed to power electric motors of mine electric locomotives and floorless trackless electric vehicles in conditions of operation of the M26 and M28 groups according to GOST 17516-72 at an altitude of up to 2000 m, manufactured for the needs national economy, as well as for export to countries with a temperate climate
