Status: Effective - Supersedes. The limitation of effectiveness has been lifted: Resolution of the State Standard No. 576 dated 06.24.92
The standard applies to toys intended for children under the age of 14, and establishes safety requirements and test methods. The standard does not apply to pyrotechnic toys, fireworks, including impact capsules (with the exception of caps intended for the game), Christmas-tree decorations, artificial Christmas trees and accessories, electric garlands, toys with internal combustion engines, equipment for open playgrounds, sports equipment, precise scale models for adult collectors, deep-sea equipment, folk decorative dolls and other similar items for adult collectors. “Professional toys” exhibited in public places, puzzles with more than 500 components or non-image puzzles intended for specialists, air rifles and pistols, slings and catapults, metal-tipped arrows for aiming, toy steam engines, bicycles with height saddles from the floor more than 635 mm, baby nipples, exact replicas of firearms, bijouterie for children, network-powered toys.

Стандарт не распространяется на пиротехнические игрушки, фейерверки, включающие ударные капсулы (за исключением пистонов, предназначенных для игры), елочные украшения, искусственные елки и принадлежности к ним, электрогирлянды, игрушки с двигателями внутреннего сгорания, оборудование для открытых детских площадок, спортивное оборудование, точные масштабные модели для взрослых коллекционеров, глубоководное снаряжение, фольклорные декоративные куклы и другие подобные предметы для взрослых коллекционеров. «профессиональные игрушки», выставленные в общественных местах, головоломки с количеством компонентов свыше 500 или головоломки без изображения, предназначенные для специалистов, пневматические ружья и пистолеты, пращи и катапульты, стрелы для метания в цель с металлическими наконечниками, игрушечные паровые двигатели, велосипеды с высотой седла от пола более 635 мм, детские соски, точные копии огнестрельного оружия, бижутерию для детей, игрушки с питанием от сети.
