Ac breakers for the voltage exceeding 1000 v
Status: Not effective - Canceled in the Russian Federation. IUS 11-2006
The standard applies to switches (including their drives) designed for switching electrical circuits under normal and emergency conditions in three-phase AC 50 Hz networks with a rated voltage of 6 to 750 kV inclusive, including switches intended for export. The standard does not apply to special versions of switches designed to: work in hazardous areas in relation to a fire or explosion (for example, in gas mines); for frequent switching operations (for example for electrothermal installations); for mobile electrical installations (for example for electric locomotives, excavators). The standard complies with IEC Publications 56 (1-6) and 427 regarding the basic technical characteristics and test methods.
