The standard establishes the terms and definitions used in science, technology and production of basic concepts in the field of energy and electrification relating to the production, transmission, distribution and consumption of electrical energy and heat. The terms established by the standard are obligatory for application in documentation of all kinds, scientific and technical, educational and reference books.
