The standard establishes a methodology for ensuring functional safety in relation to electromagnetic interference of electrical and electronic products: devices, systems and installations (hereinafter referred to as “technical means”) used in operating conditions. The standard establishes: - procedures for determining the requirements for technical means (TS) to ensure functional safety under the influence of electromagnetic interference; - the composition of the requirements for the vehicle to ensure functional safety; - recommendations for design and engineering, including installation and installation of the vehicle; - methods for assessing the functional safety of the vehicle; - recommendations for testing the vehicle in the field of EMC; - Requirements for a report on the effect of electromagnetic interference on the functional safety of a vehicle. The standard is intended for technical committees on standardization, developing standards for the vehicle, and organizations engaged in the design, engineering, production, installation and commissioning of the vehicle. The standard does not establish requirements related to the direct threat of exposure to humans of electromagnetic fields generated by the vehicle, as well as the threat of isolation or the occurrence of other conditions under which a person may be at risk of electric shock.

Стандарт устанавливает методологию обеспечения функциональной безопасности в отношении электромагнитных помех электротехнических и электронных изделий: аппаратов, систем и установок (далее - технические средства), применяемых в рабочих условиях эксплуатации. Стандарт устанавливает: - процедуры определения требований к техническим средствам (ТС) по обеспечению функциональной безопасности в условиях воздействия электромагнитных помех; - состав требований к ТС по обеспечению функциональной безопасности; - рекомендации по конструированию и проектированию, включая установку и монтаж ТС; - методы оценки функциональной безопасности ТС; -рекомендации по проведению испытаний ТС в области ЭМС; - требования к отчету о влиянии электромагнитных помех на функциональную безопасность ТС. Стандарт предназначен для технических комитетов по стандартизации, разрабатывающих стандарты на ТС, и организаций, осуществляющих конструирование, проектирование, производство, монтаж и наладку ТС. Стандарт не устанавливает требований, связанных с непосредственной угрозой воздействия на человека электромагнитных полей, создаваемых ТС, а также с угрозой нарушения изоляции или возникновения иных условий, при которых человек может подвергаться опасности поражения электрическим током.
