The standard establishes uniform methods for performing control (tests, measurements), the scope of control (tests, measurements), requirements for control results (tests, measurements) in the manufacture (final production, installation) of AS equipment and other nuclear facilities and requirements for recording control results (tests) or recording the execution of control on the operation. The standard applies to products, assembly units and parts of equipment and pipelines for nuclear power plants subject to the Rules for the Construction and Safe Operation of Equipment and Pipelines of Nuclear Power Plants (PNAE G-7-008-89)

Стандарт устанавливает единые методики выполнения контроля (испытаний, измерений), объем контроля (испытаний, измерений), требования к результатам контроля (испытания, измерений) при изготовлении (доизготовлении, монтаже) оборудования АС и других ЯУ и требования к регистрации результатов контроля (испытаний) или регистрации выполнения контроля по данной операции. Стандарт распространяется на изделия, сборочные единицы и детали оборудования и трубопроводов для атомных энергетических установок, подпадающих под действие "Правил устройства и безопасной эксплуатации оборудования и трубопроводов атомных энергетических установок" (ПНАЭ Г-7-008-89)
