Tests for flammability of plastic materials
Status: Not effective - Superseded. Registration information 333-st dated 06/13/2018 (Rosstandart official website)
The standard applies to plastics and establishes methods for determining the resistance to combustion when exposed to a flame of a gas burner and the category of resistance of plastics to combustion. The standard does not apply to plastics that warp or shrink when exposed to the flame of a gas burner, and are used in construction, as well as for assessing the fire hazard of plastics.
