This standard establishes special requirements for the design and testing of explosion-proof equipment of groups I and II, parts of electrical equipment and Ex components for a rated voltage of not more than 11 kV (AC 48-62 Hz and DC) with explosion protection of the type "sealing compound (m)" intended for use in places that are hazardous due to the presence of explosive mixtures of combustible gases or vapors at normal atmospheric pressure
Настоящий стандарт устанавливает специальные требования к конструированию и испытанию взрывозащищенного оборудования групп I и II, частей электрооборудования и Ех компонентов на номинальное напряжение не более 11 кВ (переменного тока частотой 48-62 Гц и постоянного тока) с взрывозащитой вида "герметизация компаундом (m)", предназначенного для использования в местах, опасность которых обусловлена присутствием взрывоопасных смесей горючих газов или паров при нормальном атмосферном давлении
