Retaining walls, navigation locks, fish passing and fish protection facilities
Status: Effective
The set of rules applies to the design of newly constructed and reconstructed hydraulic structures: retaining walls, navigable sluices, fish passage and fish protection structures. The design of structures intended for construction at the seaside endings of inland waterways should be carried out taking into account the requirements reflecting the specific conditions of the sea, including the hydrological regime and the aggressiveness of sea water. In projects of structures intended for construction in seismic areas, in areas of permafrost, subsiding, swelling soils, under conditions of karst formation, landslides and mudflows, additional requirements should be observed for such structures.
