The standard establishes general provisions and basic technical requirements for process pipelines: the conditions for selecting and using pipes, pipeline parts, valves and basic materials for their manufacture, as well as requirements for welding and heat treatment, placement of pipelines, conditions for normal operation and repair, which are mandatory for enterprises having production controlled by Rostekhnadzor.
