The standard applies to koumiss natural, produced from mare's milk by fermentation with pure cultures of Bulgarian and acidophilus sticks, as well as yeast, fermenting milk sugar and having antibiotic properties. Koumiss is a medical and dietary product and is intended for direct consumption in food.
Стандарт распространяется на кумыс натуральный, вырабатываемый из кобыльего молока путем сквашивания чистыми культурами болгарской и ацидофильной палочек, также дрожжей, сбраживающих молочный сахар и обладающих антибиотическими свойствами. Кумыс является лечебным и диетическим продуктом и предназначен для непосредственного потребления в пищу.
