Technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union "On the safety of fish and fish products"

Status: Effective. EAEU TR 040/2016 will enter into force on September 1, 2017, with the exception of paragraph 15 regarding the control of the content of residues of veterinary drugs, animal growth stimulants (including hormonal drugs), drugs (including antimicrobials, with the exception of chloramphenicol (chloramphenicol), tetracycline group and bacitracin) in animal aquaculture food products based on information on their use provided by the manufacturer, which takes effect after the development of the relevant interstate environmental standards containing the rules and methods of research (testing) and measurements, including the rules of sampling necessary for the application and implementation of this requirement, as well as research methods (tests) and measurements, certified (validated) and approved in accordance with the laws of the states - members of the Eurasian Economic Union, and their inclusion in the list of standards defined by paragraph 4 of the Protocol on Technical Regulation within the Eurasian Economic Union
The technical regulations have been developed in order to protect human life and health, animals and plants, property, the environment, and to prevent actions that mislead consumers of food fish products regarding their purpose and safety. The technical regulation applies to food fish products released into circulation on the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union.
Технический регламент разработан в целях защиты жизни и здоровья человека, животных и растений, имущества, окружающей среды, предупреждения действий, вводящих в заблуждение потребителей пищевой рыбной продукции относительно ее назначения и безопасности. Технический регламент распространяется на пищевую рыбную продукцию, выпускаемую в обращение на территории Евразийского экономического союза
