Status: Not effective - Superseded
The standard applies to ultrasonic vibrations propagating in air, liquid and solid media in the frequency range from 1.12x10 to step. 4 to 1.0x10 in step. 9 HZ. The standard establishes the characteristics, acceptable levels of ultrasound in the workplace and general requirements for methods of control and protection from exposure to ultrasound. The standard does not apply to ultrasonic vibrations, the source of which is medical equipment used in cases of the use of ultrasound in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
Стандарт распространяется на ультразвуковые колебания, распространяющиеся в воздухе, жидкой и твердой средах в диапазоне частот от 1.12х10 в степ. 4 до 1,0х10 в степ. 9 ГЦ. Стандарт устанавливает характеристику, допустимые уровни ультразвука на рабочих местах и общие требования к методам контроля и защите от воздействия ультразвука. Стандарт не распространяется на ультразвуковые колебания, источником которых является медицинское оборудование, используемое в случаях применения ультразвука в целях диагностики и лечения заболеваний.
